Visitors describe Istana Syarqiyyah Royal Palace Complex as a gorgeous, enormous, and memorable destination, often fulfilling childhood dreams. The architecture is lauded as beyond imagination, blending modern and classic styles. "Went to this gorgeous and enormous palace on 31st July 2024. I attended for a ceremony that was held at the king’s dining hall. I only explored maybe like 3% of the palace, but I managed to capture all the memories when I was here. Only a few hours, but it was all worth it and hard to forget. The dining hall is tremendously large, had to walk a few minutes to reach from one end to another end. Toilets are hygiene, just expect it. Subsequently, well you guess it, it is a castle. So, the parking is a no worry here. I’ve met the king, KDYMM Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah for a couple of minutes. He is very a friendly person 😊👍
Daulat Tuanku!"
