"Previously, I have only seen signpost to Ipoh. On our recent stay at a superb resort in the area ,we did go to Ipoh twice.
We found Ipoh interesting and clean. We went to a street which had a roof of sorts above it. We went there to see a luggage sales and repair shop. My well travelled Eminent suitcase key lock had refused to open , so I went to a locksmith in Chiswick, London, for help. The only way was to break the locks ! We later went a couple of times for a late lunch. Frankly , the Thai steamed fish served could have been better. Shopping was plenty . Bought shoes ."
