"In general, staff are very friendly and helpful. However there was staff in orange puffing away near the attractions. Another staff in orange sitting idly on the edge of a wall that is four-storey high. Not professional. Need retraining for some of the staff. Water quality OK. We went there during weekday so visibly less crowds. There were lots of dead or decapitated insects bodies in the wave pool. Some attractions do not have sufficient water flow and one of my kids got injured using this partially dry slide!
Given that this is a 14-year old facility, the condition of the park is not bad. Most importantly the entrance is relatively cheap. If you stay near Melaka and in need of some splashes, choose this instead of A famosa waterpark.
All in all, please ensure sufficient water flow in all slide facilities to ensure safety. Retrain staff and take care of water quality in the wave pool."

"My overall experience at Melaka Wonderland was not very satisfying.
We had to wait at the entrance for at least 15 minutes, which was quite inconvenient.
The condition of the slides was not very clean. Some of the slide designs were not suitable for young children, which led to my child injuring his foot.
There were not enough lifeguards on duty to ensure that children were not climbing or standing on top of the slides. This poses a serious safety risk if not properly monitored.
Even though we wore proper swimwear, we sometimes got stuck while using the slides, possibly due to insufficient water flow. This can be dangerous for other users. In fact, for one or two slides, we had to wait in a long queue just to allow those who were stuck to slide all the way down safely.
The walkways were extremely hot, and footwear was not allowed. My child ended up with blisters on her feet because of the rough surfaces and small stones, which were quite painful. I also experienced foot pain.
The lazy river was not appealing — the ambiance was poor, there was no shade like trees, and the area was quite small.
