"A Day at Cosmo Tower, Yokohama
Cosmo Tower in Yokohama is truly a place where you can spend an entire day soaking in beauty and fun. I visited recently, and it was an unforgettable experience.
We reached in the afternoon and began with a gondola ride. The ticket costs ¥1,000 per person, and what I found very thoughtful was that each gondola is reserved for one family or one individual ,they don’t mix different groups of people. I found that to be a very empathetic gesture.
The gondola slowly climbed to a height of 369 feet, and the view from the top was simply mind-blowing.
During the 15 minute ride, we enjoyed sweeping 360° views of Yokohama city, the harbor, the Minato Mirai skyline, Yokohama Bay Bridge, The museum and children’s park .everything looked utterly beautiful.
As evening approached, we decided to go for a second ride to see Yokohama illuminated at night. This time, we were lucky to get a transparent gondola, which made the experience even more magical. Though the queue was overwhelming it took us almost 50 minutes to an hour to get into Gondola, but it was worth the wait.
Right below the Ferris wheel, there’s an open air restaurant where you sit back, enjoy meal, and soak in the lively atmosphere of the place.
When the gondola began to rise, the city sparkled like a scene from a fairy tale. The lights, reflections, and cool night breeze created a mind blowing atmosphere. From above, I noticed something truly spectacular ,the seats placed below the Ferris wheel, where people relax and watch the fun, glowed in vibrant shades of purple & Pink at night. It was an enchanting sight to watch those lights shining like jewels from the height of the gondola.

"Some nice views of Yokohama from above! Very smooth and secure ride for the whole family. Glows brightly with colourful lights in the evening. You can get a view of the amusement park below & roller coaster ride too! We went into a regular gondola but a see-through gondola is available, you just have to wait longer as there's much fewer of them.
If you're interested, they offer to take a free photo before you ride the Ferris wheel. You can look & purchase the photo afterwards."

"Such a fun cool little adventure place. We got there at 6pm and park closes at 7:30pm so we wanted to make sure we got on the ferris wheel. Views were breathtaking! Price was affordable. There is so much entertainment to see and games to play. Highly recommend."
