What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors love the fresh, delicious sushi and picturesque harbor views at this roadside station, making it a favorite stop. However, the popularity leads to significant wait times, especially for the sushi restaurant, and some find the overall service slow. The windy conditions can also be a drawback for some.
"One of my favourite “Michi-No-Eki” road stations.
I like the sophisticated building design, l like shops and cafeterias, I love the super tasty belt conveyor sushi restaurant (a bit too popular with the waiting ticket system is a bother), I always adore the port view with a Japan Coast Guards vessel, and I cherish it on every occasion of visiting here.
If the wind was modest a little (somehow always huffy-puffy and winter is harsh here), it would be perfect. If you get cold by the wind, there’re several accessible Onsen hot spring bath facilities just nearby for comfort."

"Information place
- There are shop and restaurant down there
- Souvenir shop down there
- In front of Fisher man and port
- Welcome staff
- So many people on weekend and holiday"

"possibly one of the worse roadside places you can stop in Japan. All the restaurants are SLOW and not very responsive or friendly. They don't have Kombini or vending machines on the site. Keep going, there are better options..."
