"Free entry. Beautiful house reminiscent of childhood nostalgia. Behind is a brewery you can also tour for free. Went with a group so it was a little busy but lots of fun. Walking distance to a natural spring and other historical venues around Morioka."
Regan Williams
"Best to take a taxi from station as it is a bit far from Morioka station. The museum staff are very friendly and greet customers. I enjoyed the hot Apple juice."
Ryan Koh
"Free entry. Need to take off your shoes if you want to explore the old tatami-paved house (Ground and 1st floor), totally worthwhile though. Was there in Mar, so they installed impressive 女兒節 displays. Opposite the lawn us their merchandise shops with local goods and handicrafts, plus ice cream shop. Was pretty empty when I visited, probably due to it's still winter in Tohoku area"
