"Absolutely loved this museum, it had so many interactive exhibits as well as a variety of items, history and artistic items. It's one of our favourite museums in the north of Japan so far and it's great for all ages. They also have a small gift shop with a variety of items for all, souvenirs and food and gives a great overview of Morioka, its traditions, history and rulers. If you can only go to one place, it should be here! It's also close to the castle ruins, former bank of Iwate and the rock splitting Chery tree!"
