"The views are good. During Autumn, the fall foliage at the car parking lot is beautiful."

So Jo Urn

"This is Ogitani/Ogidani, one of the four panoramic lookout spots on Matsushima Bay. I visited in fall and thought the walk up the hill through the maple forest was really enchanting. The view at the top is totally different depending on the time of day. The sun sets early here but the islands look amazing in the late afternoon light.
The last part of Route 45 to get there past Sokanzan is a little hairy for pedestrians and bikes.
Overall I think the best view spot is Saigyo Modoshi no Matsu Park but this view is unique, too."

R Smith

"Decent view, but not worthy detour on feet, since it was rough to get there due to limited pedestrian options."
