The museum not only features originals (and carefully produced conservatory grade reproductions of those too delicate to display) but also a huge library of Japanese language children’s picture books that visitors can browse and read at their leisure. Newly added is a full scale reproduction of the train car classroom and library where you can sit and read children’s books. Our kids (aged 9 and 12 and with a decent grip of Japanese) loved this place, reading books for hours."
