What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking beauty of the wisteria tunnels and dome, describing it as a magical and enchanting experience. The garden is generally well-managed with ample parking and helpful staff. However, the ticketing process can be a significant hurdle, with confusing websites and variable pricing based on bloom quality, which some find frustrating.
"We arrived around 9 AM on a Thursday, and the crowd was quite light—not many people, so it was easy to take photos with just a short wait. The flowers were in beautiful bloom, and there was a gentle floral scent in the air, which I found really pleasant—something like jasmine or Calendula officinalis.
When we arrived by car, there were staff members helping with parking directions. There are restrooms available—fairly clean. The women’s restroom had four stalls, while the men’s had three, though one of them seemed to be temporarily out of order.
The walking path is marked as one-way, but there didn’t seem to be any strict enforcement. We saw a couple in wedding attire—hopefully they got some lovely photos. There were also a few small items available for sale near the entrance, but not many."

"The flowering season comes only once a year usually around early may, tickets go on sale in April online.
Book you time slot for ¥500pp, when you arrive depending on the flowering quality you will need to top up to ¥1500pp like we did (full bloom)
Ample parking, well coordinated and overall an amazing experience. Highly recommended.
After ticket inspection, take the far right path. It's much easier to walk up.
Please NOTE - this is NOT a place to have a picnic, you're not supposed to bring in any food or drinks. Don't be those people, ignorance is not an excuse."
