"There were still many people late at night and there was only standing room until it was closer to the last station, however, it was a peaceful ride. It was especially helpful that there was an English instruction/announcement inside the train."

"There is no railway officer 👮♀️ near inner side of the station 🚉. He stay at out side of the gate (out side of the station) . I came here by the express train using my IC Card . Because of not enough the time , I wanted to change to limited express Train from this station. There was no one to asked how to use IC card for getting tickets for the Kintetsu limited express.
So I had to touch my IC card and go out the station 🚉.
Paid for the ticket , got it and turned back to the platform.
Good 👍🏽"

Understanding Kintetsu Railway Transfers
Navigating transfers here requires a bit of planning, especially if you're using an IC card (like Suica or Icoca). While your IC card will get you through the initial gate, upgrading to a limited express often necessitates purchasing a separate limited express ticket. As one traveler noted, there might not be staff readily available inside the inner station to assist with this, potentially requiring you to exit the ticketed area to buy the upgrade. This is a common point of confusion for visitors, so factoring in extra time for such transactions is wise.
Despite the potential for transfer complexities, the Kintetsu lines are generally well-maintained and efficient. English announcements are a significant plus for international visitors, making the journey less daunting. Even during late-night services, the rides are described as peaceful, though you might find yourself standing if the train is particularly busy.
