What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Funassyiland Funabashi store for its kind staff and the availability of unique, hard-to-find merchandise. The store's charming, museum-like interior is a highlight for fans. However, many note that the space is quite cramped, and the lack of on-site restrooms and limited payment options are drawbacks. Planning around potential events is also essential to avoid disappointment.
"Kind of a cramped store but really kind staff and cool merch you usually can't find elsewhere!"

"It says "Funassyi Direct Sales Store" in large letters, but I think it would be just as good to call it "Funassyi Museum." The store is that much fun (^^♪. I bought a mug so it's very useful. In my opinion, Funassyi was created to connect Funabashi with Mickey Mouse. Funassyi Land is close to LaLaport, so maybe he's the link between LaLaport TOKYO-BAY and DisneylandSea. Funassyi's popularity is becoming a thing of the past, but since he looks similar to the Minions and Pikachu (and he looks yellow at first glance), I hope he can regain his popularity through collaboration projects or something."

The staff were very kind and helpful.
I do think it's a little cramped.
You may need to be very careful if you bring small children."

Navigating the Funassyiland Experience: Practicalities for Visitors
One of the most critical pieces of advice from visitors is to always check the store's event schedule before you go. Character photo events, while exciting, can mean the store becomes an event space, rendering it inaccessible for regular shopping. This can lead to long waits outside in potentially uncomfortable weather. To avoid disappointment, it's recommended to check their X (formerly Twitter) account for updates on events and opening hours.
Practical considerations also extend to payment and amenities. The store accepts cash and credit cards but does not support mobile payment services like PayPay. Additionally, there are no restrooms available on-site, so visitors are advised to use facilities at Funabashi Station or other nearby locations before or after their visit. Shopping bags are also an additional purchase.
