"I have been going to Burwood Beach for a few years. It's a quiet beach off the beaten path in Trelawny. It's typically not busy, and it caters to the locals which I prefer, as opposed to busier more popular beaches like Doctor's Cave. There's a little bar on the beach.
Burwood neighbors the 876 Beach Club. (I wanted to do a separate review of 876 Beach Club, but it's not pinned on Google.) For $1000.00 JMD (roughly $10) you can sit on the beach at 876 Beach Club and you get a beach chair and wrist band. There's a bar/restaurant where you can order drinks and food. There's also a huge water trampoline and bouncy castle not too far out that you can walk or swim to. On that side of the beach you can also rent jet skis. You can definitely make a day of it there. Go early to get a beach chair under one of the large trees for when it gets super hot. Horseback riding is also available on the beach."
