"Very old church with such an interesting history. High, so high, many local shops around, very tasty food, beautiful views, and many more. ;)"

"The Baroque church of San Giuseppe dominates the back of the beautiful Piazza XI Aprile. Unlike many other Baroque churches we visited in Sicily, this one is not so richly decorated. It is more simple and unassuming. A beautiful wide staircase takes you up to the church courtyard. The arched, according to Baroque architecture, entrance is made of pieces of white, gray and pink marble. High on the facade, above the entrance, there is a statue of Christ blessing the flock. Inside there are beautiful frescoes and several statues of saints. An interesting visit!"
