"A Hidden Gem for Runners in Rome
I absolutely love running in Parco della Caffarella. It’s full of greenery and has lots of hidden spots to explore. From the higher paths, you can even catch glimpses of the city.
It’s perfect for trail training, with a mix of flat and uneven terrain, plus plenty of hills and slopes to challenge your workout.
A peaceful and versatile park that’s ideal for both serious runners and nature lovers."

"This was an amazing park to visit while in Rome! The nature and scenery was incredible and it was something I was not expecting to see so close to the city. There are some structures scattered throughout the park while walking around and I happened to catch a farmer feeding their sheep’s as well! It’s a great place to just relax outside and get away from the noisy city. There’s plenty of rabbits, birds and other wildlife and benches to sit on."

"Atmospheric cycle amongst such glorious Roman history. Easy to do the entire (archaeological park) route within a few hours. Very quiet. Not many tourists. Bit painful with the lumps and bumps of coming off and on the track and cobbles but worth it!"
