Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Parco degli Acquedotti as an underrated gem offering a peaceful escape with stunning ancient Roman aqueducts. It's praised for its natural beauty and historical significance, providing a refreshing break from the city's crowds. Some find amenities limited and suggest planning accordingly.

"A stunning park full of history. We visited the Park of the Aqueducts as we wanted to see not only the aqueducts but also the filming locations for the Grande Bellezza and Ripley. I am also a huge Roman history buff so wanted to see these incredible structures up close!
The park is not only full of history but also very peaceful and pretty. It is popular with runners and dog walkers. We visited on a cold but bright February day. I can imagine in the summer it is a great place for a picnic.
It’s on the outskirts of central Rome but well worth the visit."

Louise Watson

"Really great and quiet park. We did go on a Monday morning at 8am so not sure if it becomes busy during the day; but at our time it was perfect, just local people walking their dogs :)

It's fascinating to think that this was built to long ago with that amount of precision."

Tristan Gosselin

"I loved my visit to the park. The aqueducts were beautiful and there were a lot of walking paths that were well maintained. A great break from the usual sites in Rome. I’d recommend you take the day, rent a bike and ride the via Appia Antica as well."
