What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Riva Hydroelectric Power Plant for its impressive historic architecture and the fascinating insights provided by its guided tours, particularly the unique mountain tunnel. However, many express disappointment with the difficulty in booking English-speaking tours, which can be a significant barrier despite the plant's advertised multilingual offerings.
"It's advertised as beeing Open and that their are guided Tours in italian, english and German. But when i Made contact i could only book italian Tours and on the Weekend.
I Bet it's a great Tour but they should strongly rework their advertisement."
TheDarkwalkertd
"We tried to visit the plant in person and, though there was a big sign saying "open", the gate was closed and we couldn't get in.
There were leaflets by the gate advertising guided tours "available in multiple languages" if reserved by calling the number provided. We called the number but there was nobody at the other end who could speak English so we were unable to book.
We then tried to book through their website, but we were only able to book Italian tours.
This was hugely disappointing as we were very much looking forward to visiting this plant. The leaflet seems like false advertising.
The building is very impressive though, even just from the outside."

"Interesting old building with stunning views of the lake,"
