"Riva del Garda is an absolutely beautiful place on the north west shore of Lago di Garda. Full of palm, olive and lemon trees, it has beautiful beaches, parks and picture perfect streets and surroundings. There is no shortage of shops, restaurants, cafes and accommodation. It is very busy and has a lively feel about it. The views from here are stunning looking down the lake. I highly recommend taking the panoramic elevator to the Bastione where the panoramic views are simply breathtaking. Riva del Garda is easily accessible by car, bus or boat from anywhere on the lake.
