What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Parco Naturale dei Monti Aurunci for its breathtaking views, particularly from Monte Redentore, and its diverse hiking opportunities. The natural beauty, well-maintained trails, and sense of tranquility are frequently praised. Some note that while facilities are limited, the overall experience is a fantastic outdoor adventure.
"Highly recommended to visit this hermit chappel via a medium strenuous ascent on the south face. The path is well maintained and secured, so it is possibly to hike with children age eight and upwards I would say if they are used to a little outdoor activity. There seems to be a second route from the north, which might be even easier, but I don't have details. We parked close to a cabin/restaurant on the mountain and it took us a little over an hour to get there. With another 30 minutes you can reach the summit."
