"The route is fantastic and the views are sensational! I recommend doing the circular route because on the way back after Mount Redentore you can admire valleys with many cows and pass through a beautiful forest."

"I stumbled upon it completely by chance, driven by my innate spirit of adventure. I saw the mountain, which actually looked like a small hill, dominating Formia, and I said to myself, "Let's go see what's there."
The road to get there isn't the best; it's narrow in some sections and can be dangerous at intersections with oncoming traffic. Between crazy people speeding by and weekend drivers, you have to be very careful. At the same time, there are some truly beautiful and unexpected panoramic stretches.
Fortunately, it's not heavily frequented, but it's certainly not deserted. There are always people coming and going. There's a refuge where you can eat and many areas where you can stop for a picnic. However, I didn't notice any suitable facilities. Some remnants of the past, like benches and perhaps tables, were once there, but now they're in ruins.
The nice thing is that there are cows grazing freely, even on the road. They're not afraid of cars, but that's another danger to be aware of, as is their waste, fresh or dry, which is everywhere.
I liked it so much the first time that I went back for a quick and panoramic snack."
