"An excellent presentation of archaeological finds from several sites in Umbria.
It includes a spectacular reconstruction(?)/ relocation(?) of the interior of s Roman(?) Villa, what looked like two bedrooms (His and Hers) with (partially) restored frescoes.
Lots of Etruscan grave goods, metalwork, and illustrated vases.
Why aren’t mirrors placed to see the reverse side of vases, etc."
Stuart Nicholson
"Extensive collection of local artifacts, including items found in the Necropolis at Orvieto. Signage for artifacts is bilingual in Italian and English. Larger explanatory signage is in Italian, but a translation app will help with that. This is another one of the Orvieto Carta Unica pass sites. Fewer visitors, while we roamed the galleries, we were the sole visitors. Lockers are available in the entry gallery."
Jamie O'Donnell
"A must-see museum behind and adjacent to the Cathedral in the 13th-century Papal Palace. The thousands of Etruscan artifacts are from the area and include vases, bronzes, terra cotta items, and even frescoes from detached from the Etruscan tombs."
