"Enjoyed our tour. It was very interesting learning about the life of the monks and how they lived and their history. We got to go through one of the cloister/cells where we were told a monk would spend most of their time living in silence, I was so fascinated with taking it all in that I unfortunately didn't get to hear a lot of what our tour guide was telling us, so hopefully I got the information about how the monks lived correct.
We did not have much time there, but I would have loved to see more and learn more. It's definitely worth visiting."

"Just 15-20 minutes drive from florence centro, I believe there is also a bus to go here. I was here on the weekend (Sunday) , we took 4 PM tour. Ticket cost 8euro/person , tour about 1-1,5 hours depending on how many people are there. The guide speaks 3 languages and in our group he spends time with italian then in English so everyone can understand. After tour we could try the local liquor shots for free at the local shop. The shop sells many things most are made in the area of certosa. I recommend this place to visit just always check what time they available for the tour because not all times also certain days are also different."
