What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Gucci Garden Museum as a must-visit for fashion lovers, praising its unique exhibits, especially the mirrored room, and the exclusive boutique. While some note its small size, the curated displays and historical narrative are consistently highlighted as worthwhile for the €8 admission.
"Read about the store and museum online prior to visiting Florence and really enjoyed my time there. If you're a Gucci lover like myself, it's definitely a must-visit. Like others have mentioned, the museum is a bit small when you consider the history of Gucci, but it's still worth seeing. The mirrored purse room alone is an amazing photo op and just seeing all the different eras of fashion was amazing. I went in Dec 2024 and I lucked out as it wasn't very busy. The Gucci Garden store is wonderful, as they have pieces that are only sold there. The sales person was extremely friendly and helpful and I ended up purchasing a lenticular postcard and a tote."

"Well worth the 8 euros! Only two floors and small exhibits but they are thoughtfully put together and tell a beautiful story of Gucci’s start and legacy. The immersive mirror room is very transfixing, plan to chill in there if there isn’t a lot of people! We went on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. We almost had the place to ourselves."

"This place is a must stop for all fashion lovers, specially Gucci ones. I have an old vintage Gucci silver bracelet and watched the movie with Lady Gaga about the Gucci family and that was enough to decide not to miss this museum and boutique while in Florence. Its really wonderful exhibition of the famous printed silk scarfs and Gucci bags are displayed even better - with mirror room and floor and ceiling out of mirror too you feel like in endless space. Museum is pretty small but the exhibited pieces are definitely representative this famous Italian fashion icon."
