"This is the second Cathedral in Cadiz as the first was destroyed.
The price for this ticket €9 for the visit was included in the City Sightseeing Hop on hop off bus ticket and was good value for money.
The cathedral has many treasures including a very ornately carved choir stalls from the Charterhouse of Santa Maria de las Cuevas, and the Custodia del Cogolla encassed in silver.
On the day that we visited, the stalls for Pope Francis' funeral were laid out in front of the cathedral, for mourners and faithful to stand and be seated.
The Cathedral museum is adjacent to the cathedral itself and is regularly open."
