"Saw this castle in the distance and decided to check it out. It was a Monestary and we were able to take an English speaking tour. The church was beautiful and I thought that might be enough but the tour the Monk gave told so many interesting facts that we were so glad we did it. The Monk population is declining so only five in residence. If you have a group of 10 or more they rent out rooms. Very interesting how they have made use of livestock to help tend the grounds. One of the last super artworks is by Michelangelo’s master. The details explained would have been missed without the explanation. God bless them!"

"Beautiful old monastery that is being tended to by 5 monks, one of which is in his 80s!! The grounds are beautifully cared for, the tour we had from one of the monks was very detailed and educational. You don't buy tickets, but they welcome donations at the end of the tours to help with the restoration of the buildings and frescos!! A must see if in the area!!"
