Parking and Traffic: Navigating the Quays
For more economical options, the long-stay parking near the bus station is frequently recommended. Rates are typically around €4.50 from Monday to Thursday and €6 on Fridays and Saturdays. Payment can be made via the Wayleader app or onsite machines. This offers a more budget-friendly solution for those planning to spend several hours exploring the Quays and surrounding areas.
Traffic can also be a consideration, with potential for congestion, especially during peak times, events, or public demonstrations like farmer protests that have occurred on the Quays. Planning your visit during off-peak hours or utilizing public transport can help mitigate these traffic concerns.
