"One of favourite beaches for a sunny warm day in Ireland. The beach is long and sandy, with no rocks, which makes it very comfortable to spend the day. The sea is like a bay, so no waves, the water is calm and cristal clear.
There are lifeguards in busy days and plenty of space for the crowd. There’s plenty of parking - 2€ for the whole day in the street - and even in really busy days you can find a spot close to the beach.
There’s public toilets all around, including one with an outdoor shower in case that’s needed.
All over the seafront you have places to eat, nice cafes and restaurants. It does give that “holiday beach” vibe.
