"Very wide beach, with nice sand. There is plenty of space where you can sit. There is a lifeguard on the beach during the summer months. Car parking is a big problem in good weather. It should be bigger; that is why only 4 stars. Toilets are next to the car park, plus a coffee truck."

"Both this and curracloe beach join to make one long beach. Its as good as you are going to get in Ireland. I live 4 hours from there but plan to go back in a few weeks. It is astounding. Pure golden beaches where you can walk your dog anytime. It is so relaxing there. Hundreds of sea shells to look at or pick and so many people who are totally relaxed just walking along... or lying down getting a tan. There is a life guard tower there. A good few of them. Not always manned . The sand is so soft.. I could go on and on about it. If you love beaches you need to visit it.... you won't be disappointed. My dog loved it there too and made friends with so many dogs. One in particular as seen on video."
