"Nobar Gate is one of the old gates of Tabriz, built around 400 AH. This gate was also one of the ten gates of Tabriz during the reign of Ghazan Khan. All of these gates were destroyed in the earthquake of 1193 AH and were rebuilt.
Nobar Gate and Gate were destroyed by the municipality during the construction of the former Pahlavi Street. The area around this gate is called Nobar Neighborhood, where the Kadkhodabashi Mosque, Maidan Mosque, Behnam House, and the Literary Museum of Professor Shahriar are located. In the 1390s, the Tabriz Municipality built a new building inspired by existing images of Nobar Gate at the approximate location of Nobar Gate at the intersection of Tarbiat Street and Imam Street."
