"This resort is a good choice if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway at a reasonable price. The environment is very calm and relaxing, surrounded by nature, which makes it a perfect place to escape from the busyness of town and city life. It has that “silent retreat” feel, which I really enjoyed.

The overall experience was positive, but I did notice that certain parts of the resort were not very well maintained. Some areas could definitely use a bit of care and updating to match the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. That said, the natural surroundings, quiet environment, and laid-back vibe more than made up for it.

For the price point, I would say the resort delivers good value, especially if what you’re looking for is rest, relaxation, and some time away from the crowd. Despite its small flaws, I still enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone searching for a quiet, budget-friendly retreat."

"First time staying a Turi Beach Resort, and unfortunately for me, this will have to be my last. Check in process was smooth, and on the outside, I noticed that the lobby was nice, and the lift lobbies looked stylish. However that facade ended once I got to my room.

The first weird thing I realised was that the rooms "secured" by a see through rickety wooden gate, that HAS NO LOCK. Meaning to say that anyone can walk into your room balcony. Even if there was a lock, the gate can be easily broken by just a simple kick, as it is not made of strong wood.

Once you get past the gate, you are greeted with your room exterior, which is made out of GLASS. The room has curtains, however the curtains sometimes dont close and stay in place properly, meaning that anyone can simply walk through the unlocked gate and they will be able to see literally everything in your room.

The room door itself is also a simple latch handle door, which also made it comical to hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign outside the room door when you are inside, as it will just fall off, or jam the door when you close it. I guess the resort makes up for it by having a very professional security team which even checks car boots, but overall, I did not feel safe staying in the room.

The rooms in the resort are also run down, smell old, have mould everywhere, and exposed wires in the bathroom near the tap.

The breakfast buffet was also sub-par, serving you hard crossiants, and unappetising food, for a premium price. Presentation for main courses should you choose to order via the restaurant or room service looked really good, but the taste was something to be desired entirely.

I ended up opting to head to town where the food was better and much more cheaper.

Amenities such as the pool were fine, however the water sports looked almost deserted. I wanted to give the parasailing a try, however after notcing that nobody seemed to be doing it, I decided not to, as such a thing is often a bad sign when it comes to overall equipment servicability and the kind of staff employed. (Less business usually means less qualified/fewer staff on hand)

My overall recommendation will be to save your money and go elsewhere. Batam has plenty of good hotels for a better price, and Turi Beach Resort is definitely not worth the extra price, and the extra distance, with it's lousy ammenities."

"Very nice place, super relaxing gazing the sea view from the room balcony. Very friendly staffs, and meals are delicious. It takes a bit of steep walk to go up to the 3rd level cabin, but the view is great. It would be absolutely perfect if the bathroom comes with a bathtub. Nevertheless, highly recommended for people who wants a getaway from the city."
