What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Kemenuh Butterfly Park for its enchanting atmosphere, abundant butterflies, and family-friendly features like the water park. It's considered a peaceful and photogenic escape, offering a unique glimpse into nature. Some minor points of improvement include clearer signage and the need for mosquito repellent.
"This place offers a new experience of being surrounded by butterflies in many sizes and colours. The atmosphere is cool and shady. This place is suitable for those who are interested in plants and insects, specifically butterflies. The ticket is quite reasonable, and you can enjoy swimming pool with slides if you want to. However, I think this place is lack of some points. There was no direction signs so we didn't know the exact route to enjoy all of the spots. Second, because it's an outdoor area, there are mosquitoes. Make sure you apply some mosquito repellent before visiting this place, but please use the organic one (eucalyptus oil with lemongrass fragrance may work). Overall, this place is recommended"

"We made a short stop at Kemenuh Butterfly Park during our trip, and I’m really glad we did.
Although the visit wasn’t very long, it turned out to be one of the highlights for our kids. They were fascinated by the butterflies flying freely around the enclosure and enjoyed spotting different colors and sizes up close.
We ended up taking a lot of pictures — it’s a very photogenic place, and you can get quite a few lovely shots with butterflies resting on your hand or shoulder if you're patient.
One of the unexpected positives was how the visit helped reduce some of the fear of insects that my kids had before. Seeing butterflies in such a calm and natural environment made them more curious than scared, and they walked away with more appreciation for nature.
The park is clean, well-maintained, and peaceful — a nice break from the busier tourist spots.
If you’re in or around Ubud, I’d say it’s definitely worth adding to your itinerary, especially if you’re traveling with children.
It’s not a place you’d plan your day around, but it’s a lovely, low-key stop that offers something memorable in a short time."
