"The Arab village (descendants of Yemen, Middle East) located in Panjunan Village near Asy-Syafili Mosque) Lemah Wungkuk District, Cirebon-West Java is known as the maker of Harisah Porridge (stop or silent) which has been around for 1 century in 2024. This soft porridge is made from ingredients such as 1 kg of young goat meat, 5 kg of premium rice & spices including lemongrass, bay leaves, ginger, cloves, pandan leaves, cardamom, & pepper. All the ingredients are cooked in 1 pan by stirring for 2 hours on low heat so as not to burn. Cooked (brown in color with various spices evenly and firmly. Then the porridge from the pan is transferred to a Styrofoam food container at this time (before the Covid-19 pandemic with a buffet on a plate). This porridge is made at 10 am & served in the afternoon, especially during the fasting month of Ramadan as a menu for breaking the fast at the mosque. To be precise, this porridge is not sold commercially, but only as a devotion to fellow Muslims in Panjunan."
