What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dago Dreampark offers a scenic escape in a pine forest with many unique selfie spots and adventure activities. While the affordable entry fee is a plus, visitors should be aware that most rides and services incur additional costs, and dining prices can be high. It's a good option for families and those seeking photo opportunities, but managing expectations on overall spending is key.
"This theme park is located on the hills of Dago, Bandung. Therefore, when you visit this place, it is recommended for you to wear comfortable shoes rather than slippers. For the low fee of 100k per person, you can enjoy many facilities provided by the theme park. Check the photo for what you actually get for 100k."

"PERSONALLY I didn't like this kind of place, but I gotta give it a high stars because it's actually a good place, and well maintained, if you know what to expect.
It's a selfie-tourist attraction, that's all, it would have been good in 2014-2015 when "instagrammable" was a thing, but now it's outdated and irrelevant considering that people don't really care about Instagram feed anymore (after covid). The vibe was grim and sad even though some of them was clean and well maintained, except for the old heart shaped selfie spot. The restaurants are empty because of highly marked up foods, (22.000 for black nescafe??? No thanks), but I found a coffee stall with a normal price and real coffee bean, thankfully, 15.000 for americano from real coffee bean.
You can drive ATV here and gliding/flying fox, but you have to pay 100.000 more to do all that, and the shuttle bus? Yes sir, pay 10.000 more. Not worth it"

Exploring the Attractions
Beyond the main attractions, the park offers family-friendly rides and kids' zones, ensuring entertainment for all ages. The expansive pine forest itself is a significant draw, offering a refreshing and picturesque environment for leisurely walks and relaxation. Visitors can utilize the park's shuttle bus service, the 'Wara Wiri', to easily navigate the large area and access different zones.
While the entry fee is modest, many of these individual attractions require separate tickets. Visitors are advised to check for combo packages or all-inclusive tickets to make the most of their visit and manage costs effectively. The park aims to provide a comprehensive entertainment experience, blending adventure, unique photo opportunities, and natural beauty.
Navigating Costs and Value
Many of the park's signature attractions, such as ATV rides, flying fox, and even the shuttle bus service, incur additional charges. A common additional cost for the shuttle bus is around 10,000 IDR, and adventure activities can range significantly higher. Some visitors have noted that purchasing an all-inclusive ticket for around 100,000 IDR can be a good value if you plan to experience multiple paid attractions.
When it comes to dining, reviews suggest that while restaurants are available, prices can be marked up. Exploring the food stalls might offer more budget-friendly options. Ultimately, the perceived value depends on how many of the additional attractions you plan to utilize. For those seeking a full day of activities, budgeting for extra tickets is essential.
The Dago Dreampark Experience: Beyond the Hype
However, some traveler reviews offer a more nuanced perspective. While acknowledging the pleasant scenery and well-maintained areas, some feel the 'instagrammable' trend has passed, and the park's unique selling points might feel somewhat dated compared to newer attractions. The additional costs for many rides and services, beyond the initial entry fee, are frequently mentioned as a point of consideration. The food prices in the main restaurants have also been noted as being on the higher side.
Despite these points, many visitors still find Dago Dreampark to be a good option for a family day out, offering a variety of activities and a pleasant environment. The key is to manage expectations regarding the overall cost and to prioritize which attractions are most important to your visit.
