"Very famous lord Murugan Temple nearby Madurai. One of six abodes of lord Murugan. Very powerful. Its believed that Lord Murugan married Devasena amman here. Peaceful and serene place. Rock cut structure. Usually crowded on weekends. Takes around 1 hour for Darshan. There are 2 queues general and speed darshan (Rs. 100). The temple will be closed during afternoon times. The sanctum sanctorum is different from other temples. The idle of lord Murugan marrying Devasena amman are kept in a mirror mage kind of structure in the open room.
