"Visited the Lucknow Zoo recently. Overall, it's a small but decent zoo with a fair collection of animals and a good layout. However, I was quite surprised by the lack of proper facilities, especially considering this is in the state capital.
The park area is in poor condition and needs urgent attention. There’s very little for kids to explore and enjoy beyond the animals. The adventure zone is substandard, and most activities there are chargeable — even the most basic ones. Not all families can afford to pay extra for things that should ideally be free or included with the entry ticket. On top of that, the staff in the adventure zone were rude and unhelpful.
On a positive note, the zoo train is fun and reasonably priced — definitely a highlight for children.
Overall, an okay experience, but I sincerely urge the concerned authorities to improve the kids’ facilities and overall maintenance. For a zoo located in a state capital, expectations are naturally higher."

"First of all I want to request zoo administration to please focus on cleanliness of the premises. Very dirty and bad smell surroundings. Experience of toy train is very bad . On weekends and public holidays they sell more tickets than seats and public fight with each other for seat and no management or any queue. As well as train move so fast that we cannot enjoy or watch beautiful sights at last you have to walk out. You can not watch animals from 360 degree you have to wait animals to come out near barricade to watch out."
