The chairs are wooden one might feel like it break when u push it back, it always create sound. Whole 30 min i heard chair sound more then actual show voice. Overall the show was good and informative, i felt they can increase the brightness little more. The show time is from 2 to 5 pm. But they sometime increase the shows as per demand. The Legacy of Pathani Samanta
Visitors can see a statue of Pathani Samanta on the planetarium grounds, a tribute to his pioneering work. The planetarium aims to inspire future generations with the wonders of the cosmos, much like Samanta did during his lifetime.
Navigating the Shows and Seating
However, a recurring point in visitor feedback is the dated condition of the seating. Many chairs are described as old, wooden, and uncomfortable, sometimes creating noise during the shows. While the visual content of the shows is generally praised, the seating can detract from the overall comfort and experience.
Despite these drawbacks, the shows themselves are considered informative, covering topics like the sun, galaxies, and planets. The planetarium's focus remains on delivering astronomical knowledge, making it a valuable learning experience, especially for younger audiences.
