If you're in Bhubaneswar and want a real taste of Odisha (and beyond!), Ekamra Haat is an absolute gem. I loved just strolling around, it has such a lovely, relaxed vibe. The way they've designed the stalls like little village huts gives it so much character.
I spent ages Browse the handicrafts – the Pattachitra paintings are simply stunning, and I picked up some beautiful handloom fabric. It's so cool to see the artisans actually demonstrating their skills right there. You feel like you're getting a genuine piece of art, directly from the person who made it.
And the food! Oh my goodness, the food stalls are a must-try. I indulged in some delicious local Odia snacks that I still think about.
It's a fantastic spot for souvenirs, or just to soak in some local culture. Highly recommend a visit, whether you're a tourist or a local looking for something unique. Definitely brings a smile to your face!"
