What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Vöröskő Spring's spectacular natural display, calling it an outstanding and amazing place. The scenic hike through the forest is a significant draw, though some note the spring's activity is highly dependent on rainfall. The pristine, undeveloped nature of the site is appreciated, but the lack of amenities is also a point of consideration for some.
"Outstanding nature attraction."
Hajdu Tamás
"Great place. You can get to the spring with an easy hike. From spring to autumn, you can shorten it a bit if someone connects it with a small train, so it's only about 2 km from the Stimecz house, but it's not strenuous to walk all the way. When the spring is in operation, it's truly spectacular. There are no benches, tables, or trash cans, just nature, that's what anyone who goes there should expect. It's a highly protected area, so you should behave accordingly."
Zsuzsa Barna
"The spring is accessible from the wildlife park, we were able to drive up there. There is a parking lot and a rest area here. Then we went along the small railway to the end station, from where we had to walk on a forest road. Unfortunately, there is no tourist sign, only a sign indicating the spring, but it is easy to find on the road next to the stream. Unfortunately, when we were there, there was relatively little water, but the spring is still beautiful."
