What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Kopaszi Dam Park for its beautiful riverside location, ample green space for relaxation and picnics, and its suitability for outdoor activities like cycling and jogging. It's seen as a peaceful escape from the city bustle, though it can get crowded on sunny weekends.
"Well maintained, nice and peaceful part of the city. Feels like an "upperclass" park for the everyday people.
There is a nice beach here with free entry, but you get to consume something inside in exchange."

"A lovely looking park which is well maintained and has cafes, restaurants, toilets and little beaches with sun beds and shallow water all the way along the peninsular. Sadly dogs are not allowed in this part but they are allowed on the other side. Unfortunately some people allow their dogs to run free which helps me understand why they are restricted in the main park. I'd prefer rules about dogs being on leads and under control rather than a blanket ban on all dogs. On the side of the park where you can go with your dog there is one restaurant you can enter but you cannot use the beach or sunbeds. There are no WCs so you will find lots of used toilet paper left for you to admire."

"Located a peninsula in the Danube river in Budapest, it has all the necessary amenities, benches, drinking water fountains, bistro areas, pedestrian walk ways, a huge paid parking lot, however it's very lengthy and the parking lot is right at the entrance.
The view is nice, however we visited during the evening, after the flooding, no concerning damage.
We were advised that boat trips are also available when the weather is more stable.
The views are pleasent even during the evening.
And I recommend visiting the bistro in the pic"
