What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Georgetown Seawall is praised for its unique views, especially at sunset, and its lively local atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation and community gatherings. However, many visitors note significant issues with litter and a lack of basic facilities, detracting from its natural beauty.
"The view here is truly one of a kind. There are benches to sit and relax, making it a spot worth visiting both during the day and at night. It’s a great place to hang out, have a few drinks, play music, barbecue, or even do some fishing. Loads of parking and you can even hangout in your car as well
However, a major issue is that many people who use this space don’t clean up after themselves. The area especially the pier, or what feels like one is often left littered with garbage and unpleasant smells. It’s really unfortunate, given how beautiful the location is.
To preserve its appeal, especially as it becomes more popular with tourists, officials should consider installing sanitary facilities like toilets, sinks, garbage bins, and handwashing stations. It’s a beautiful spot that deserves to be kept clean both for locals and visitors alike. As it holds memories for the folks that grew up in the area and is becoming a traditional place of memories for the younger ones coming up. I highly recommend visiting this area!"

"Awesome spot with a beach and a number of sites to see. Enter in between the Mariot and the Pegasus. There's a "Jesus is the Lord" wall that's great for a quick picture. The beach isn't in too good condition but it's one of the few in Georgetown. The wind there feels really nice"

"It's a nice spot to cool off, but a far cry from the earlier images, refuge now litters the area."
