What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Saumarez Park is widely praised as a beautiful, well-maintained park with scenic views and peaceful ponds, making it a must-visit for tourists and locals alike. While the cafe offers tasty food, some find it expensive, and bus availability can be an issue. Despite minor maintenance concerns in some areas, its charm and the presence of the Folk Museum and play area make it a highly recommended spot for relaxation and family outings.
"Lovely park and very well maintained. Loads of scenic views and very good for some quite time and the ponds are well looked after. Even tourists must visit place. Only problem is bus availability. There are no proper bus stops in guernsey in the first place and it is quite hard to reach or go back from here. There is a cafe in the park with loads of food options and drinks. But if you don’t want to spend too much money i suggest to take your own lunch or packed food as i find it a bit expensive but food is tasty though it’s just personal preference."
