"This monastery has a lot of stairs and it is quite a small one too. Entry fee is €5, which I don’t have a problem with paying.
But on your way out there are lovely, clean new bathrooms, but they charge €1 to use the loo!!! I thought this was shocking - nowhere else in Greece have I ever encountered this!!! I have only ever encountered this horrible practice in Turkey. Greeks are more hospitable and I didn’t come to expect this type of behaviour from them."
