What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Koblenz Old Town is praised for its picturesque, colorful German architecture and lively atmosphere, offering a charming experience with plenty of shops, cafes, and biergartens. Visitors enjoy the scenic Rhine riverfront and the friendly locals. Some found guided tours less engaging than independent exploration.
"A very pretty little town. Classic houses and little streets - everything is very colourful and German. It's more lively than some of the other towns in the area, with lots of clothes shops, souvenir shops, cafés and biergartens, as well as a pharmacy, an art gallery, a post office and all the other 'normal' shops you'd expect of a small town. The riverfront is very charming and provides a nice view of the Rhine. There's also a machine that for a couple of Euros will turn 5-cent pieces into souvenir tokens. And of course look out for the 'Nett hier, aber waren Sie mal in Baden Wuettenburg' stickers - they're everywhere!"
