What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aquarium Berlin is generally well-regarded for its diverse aquatic life and engaging exhibits, particularly the sharks and jellyfish. Visitors appreciate the unique elevator experience and the educational value. However, some find certain areas less engaging or note occasional closures.
"It’s fascinating to feel like a sea diver, observing various species of aquatic animals, amphibians, and reptiles. Each floor of the building showcases a different class of the animal kingdom. It’s worth every penny spent!"
Terry Ugonabo
"You can get here on combined ticket with the Zoo.
It's currently under renovation so some of the aquariums are not available. Sometimes you are also walking in the dark both literally and figuratively, since there are parts where there is hardly any light and throughout the whole ground level no arrows or other marks showing you the way you should follow.
The other two floors are for reptiles with a bit of a mangrove forests with crocodiles and insects tanks."
Maciej Polakowski
"Great for kids, the aquarium itself is only on the ground floor. First and second floors have other animals/insects.
Can easily combine the zoo and aquarium on a single day."
