What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The La Défense Christmas Market is a vast and festive event, praised for its impressive scale, wide array of chalets, and lively atmosphere, especially with its ice rink and seasonal treats. However, some visitors found the food selection limited and noted that prices for both food and gifts can be on the higher side, with a concern about the authenticity of some 'artisanal' products.
"Went to the markets 22 November 2025. They were so much fun; lots of food and drink options, and a lot of gift ideas"
Kylie Patira
"The Xmas market is great. This evaluation is only about the picture with Santa Claus (Maison du Père Noël):
Terrible quality and definitely not worth the €12,90. The place is nice, and there is an official photographer with professional camera. I don’t understand how the quality is so poor. Both the printed photo you get from the machine and the digital file sent via email. Definitely worth it! To me, this is something it should cost around 5-6€ maximum and with much better quality. The biggest disappointment of an otherwise nice Xmas market."

"Please, be very careful - there is one psycho seller who is really wild and dangerous.. I will post video about what happened with me that day there - watch and share .. maybe management of this market will take action and protect another people..
We went to this Xmas market on 17 of November 2025 - everything was good, nice decorations, nice atmosphere, beautiful and pleasant smells of food courts, nice food courts with good looking French food .. all sellers were very friendly and nice to me and were giving us samples of cheese, chocolate and etc .. but almost in the end of our nice evening happens this abnormal situation.. wich scared me a lot .. I am still in frustration and shock .."
