"This mall has a lot to offer — good shops, a fun arcade, and friendly employees. I even left five-star reviews for some of the food places here because the service was excellent. The arcade itself is a great place to spend time, and the staff inside are welcoming.
Unfortunately, my experience with the mall’s security really brought the visit down. One guard in the arcade was overly strict for no reason. He didn’t believe me when I explained that I don’t speak French — I’m here visiting family — and treated me as if I had done something wrong, even though arcade staff were fine with me being there. The next day, he kept trying to get my attention when I was just enjoying time with my friend, only stopping when another family asked for his help. I also saw him make a kid flip his hat backwards, which served no purpose.
On another occasion, a different security guard told me to get up from the floor even though all the chairs were full and I wasn’t disturbing anyone. Situations like this make visitors feel singled out instead of welcomed.
I really wanted to leave this place a positive review, but after these experiences with security, I can’t. If management takes steps to address this, I’ll happily update my review when I come back at Christmas. The mall and arcade are great — it’s just the security behavior that needs improvement."
