Dedicated to Saint Gonéry, a healing monk from across the Channel, the 11th-century tower features a Romanesque section to the west. Inside, on the ceiling, there are remarkable Romanesque-style paintings depicting the Old and New Testaments. The exterior pulpit (15th century) is decorated with a 15th-century altarpiece.

On the roof of the Romanesque building, a lead spire was added in 1612. The base, not strong enough, leaned to one side while the spire tilted to the other, giving it its particular silhouette. Consolidation work was carried out but the spire remained as it was.
