Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Gallo-Roman Theatres for their historical significance and the unique experience of walking through ancient ruins. The free entry is a major draw, and many appreciate the opportunity to see a site still used for modern performances. Some note the lack of shade and recommend visiting the museum for a deeper understanding.

"This place is really cool. It’s free and easy to find. It is one of the cooler Roman ruins because it is still being used today. It was fun watching people enjoy it like a park. Would highly recommend visiting then heading over to the museum!"

Daniel H

"Walking through the theatre feels like stepping back in time, with its impressive stone seating, partially intact stage, and gentle slopes inviting exploratio. The site is remarkably well preserved, allowing visitors to walk freely among the ruins and soak up the atmosphere where audiences once gathered for performances nearly two thousand years ago."

Muhammad Fazeel

"Amazing ruins to check out within a close walk from the Cathedral nearby. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to explore the inside of the museum, and since we were heading to Rome it seemed appropriate to postpone anthing Roman to our later trips.

The ruins themselves however, still are able to immerse you in history and come alive as you walk through them."

Built in the 1st century AD, these theaters were once vibrant centers of entertainment and public life.
