"A good, clean, well stocked, supermarket, with "normal prices". There are lots of special offers and some price matching.
I have come from England, (Uxbridge) so this was a real treat. There is even a lady at the checkout who has a friendly smile and serves you.
The shelves have all the good products we aren't allowed to have in UK, like acetone for cleaning, spirit for lamps, etc. It is like going back in time to before Brexit, when we had cheese, meat and fish counters at Sainsbury's."

"Lacking decent bakery, what we have grown to expect in France"

A Taste of French Groceries
While the market excels in its product variety, one common observation is the perceived lack of a 'decent bakery.' This suggests that while you can find everyday items, those seeking a quintessential French boulangerie experience might need to look elsewhere. Nevertheless, the overall sentiment is positive, with many appreciating the clean, well-stocked environment and the convenience it offers, especially when other establishments might be closed.
Community and Service
This focus on friendly service stands out, especially for international travelers. It transforms a simple grocery run into a more enjoyable interaction.
