Reviews Summary

The Nadi Handicraft Market offers a chance to find authentic Fijian souvenirs and support local vendors, often at better prices than resort shops. While some items may be imported and prices can be high, respectful haggling can lead to great deals. The market provides a glimpse into local commerce and is a worthwhile stop when exploring Nadi town.

"It is a small market with local items, as well as products from China. Which didn't bother me at all. People are trying to make a living and with buying something you are supporting the locals. So instead of spending your money at resorts, come here and buy something small.

It's easy to find handmade products as you can tell, which products are handmade. I didn't find the people pushy at all and I enjoyed strolling around and browsing."

Wicked Sheila

"If you decide to explore Nadi town it's worth stopping here to check out the shops, experience the locals try and entice you into their shops.
For us, it was about the experience, what they sell is not, for the most part, handmade. In fact the majority is from China and it is over priced. Be prepared to haggle on price.

Great experience but not much more."

Joe

"Very few stalls, all selling the same stuff. Everything looks really old. Prices are ridiculously high. The fact that it's a council initiative, the place should at least be kept clean. People were lovely but sad for them."
